About Skydive Robertson

Welcome to Skydive Robertson, where we combine a professional approach toskydiving with a Club approach to socialising afterward. We’ve been operatingsince 1972 (previously as Skydive Citrusdal) and are as proud of our greathospitality, as we are of our recognition as one of the best training dropzonesin the country.

We operate almost every weekend at Robertson Airfield in the beautiful BreedeRiver Valley. If you want a fun once-off experience, or a solid basis for yourskydiving career, make a booking and spend the weekend with us. If you arealready an experienced jumper, come do your FIRST Robertson jump and then join us around the fire to drink to it.

Staff

The club is staffed entirely by club members. These people are remunerated nominally, to cover their costs, but their primary reward is the ability to share and promote the sport they love. Many jumpmasters and instructors started their skydiving careers at Citrusdal and have progressed through the various experience and competency levels there. Others have come from across the country - and even the world, constantly bringing in fresh perspectives and new ideas. All our duty instructors and jumpmasters are Parachute Association of SA (PASA) rated and rigourously conform to the Manual of Procedures (MOPs).

Our commitment:

  • To provide the necessary training, instruction, facilities and equipment to enable those interested to gain experience and recreation in sport parachuting
  • To promote sport parachuting in all its forms in the Western Cape
  • To promote the greatest possible safety and care in sport parachuting
  • To associate and affiliate with clubs of a similar nature and to encourage unity and goodwill among all persons interested in sport parachuting

Equipment and training facilities

The WPSPC will supply you with the some of the best equipment, training and instruction in South Africa. Our equipment includes full student gear as well as rentable rigs for the experienced skydiver. We also offer video or still photography so you can share the thrill of your skydives with family and friends.
