Skydive Robertson offers coaching for experienced skydivers in a variety of skydiving disciplines and to skydivers of all skill levels. Please take into consideration that certain skydiving disciplines require the skydiver to complete prerequisites. A qualified coach would be able to assist you in this regard.
Formation Skydiving (Relative Work) Coaching
Formation skydiving is the art of building formations in free-fall with multiple people gripping each others' limbs or specially built "grippers" on their jumpsuits.
Freefly Coaching
Freeflying is an expansion of skydiving which includes the traditional belly-to-earth positions, but extends into vertical flight where the flyer is in an upright position (falling feet first) or in an inverted position (falling head first). These positions increase freefall speeds and make new types of formations and routines possible.
Freefly Coaches:
André du Preez I've been freeflying since 1997 and have 5000 skydives, of which 1000 are not freeflying. I've got 2 gold medals and a silver competing at nationals in freefly and freestyle skydiving, as well as freestyle camerawork. I've represented South Africa at the World Air Games in 2001 as the cameraman for the South African Woman's Freestyle Team. I was a professional freefly coach, cameraman, tandem and aff instructor for 4 years in America, and load organized freefly boogies there as well. Besides skydiving I am an internationally certified Iyengar yoga instructor, which gives me a very interesting approach and in-depth insight into the mental and musculoskeletal aspects of skydiving.

Wingsuit Coaching
Wing suit flying is the sport of flying the human body through the air using a special jumpsuit, called a wing suit, which adds surface area to the human body to create lift. The wing suit creates the surface area with fabric between the legs and under the arms. A wing suit may be referred to as a birdman suit or squirrel suit. A wing suit flight ends with a parachute opening after a circuit was flown around the landing zone. A wing suit enables the pilot or flier to extend his free fall time from roughly 45 sec on a normal skydive to 2min.
