Join thousands of other wine lovers meandering between estates, sampling sublime vintages, meeting the knowledgeable winemakers, taking part in tutored tastings and embracing country life. The Wacky Wine Weekend takes place in the beautiful Robertson Wine Valley every year.
Or come to Skydive Robertson and spend the weekend skydiving. The Saturday night will be filled with gluhwein from Dodgy’s cauldron. You’ll be asked to contribute but then you’ll get your fill of Dodgy’s potion.
If you have a partner that doesn’t jump, they can enjoy the festivities away from the dropzone at the different vineyards that are putting on events. Breedekloof Wine estates from Ashton, Bonnievale, McGregor and Robertson host extra activities to wine tasting, which includes outdoor, sport, adventure, family-fun, kiddo stuff, live music, fine dining to name but a few. For more information check out the Wacky Wine Weekend‘s website.
The Wacky Wine Weekend works in a passport system; you buy your passport online before the event for R150 and get access to all the vineyards that are participating. The passport entitles you to free entry to over 40 wine farms. Other activities offered work on a pay-as-you-go basis with some activities free of charge.
